Our Mission


The mission of the Walhalla Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in the City of Walhalla by working with the public and within the framework of the U.S. Constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce fear and provide for a safe environment.

EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION

The Walhalla Police Department is currently accepting applications for the following position(s):

Patrol Officer


Responsibilities include:

performing security patrols, traffic controls, first aid at accidents, detection, investigation and arrest of persons involved in crimes or misconduct.


Requirements:


Must possess or be able to obtain by time of hire a valid South Carolina drivers license


Must be a U.S. Citizen


Must be of good moral character and of temperate.


Education requirements:

High School diploma or equivilant

Monday - Friday

8am - 4pm
